Both FFX and FFX-2 are coming to PS3 this year on one disc no less!

Woot woot! Now let's hope that they are the international versions with the Dark Aeons and crap!

Also Trailer March 25th for them.

I've seen it! I'm so excited! The quality is still pretty much the same right?

It's great to know it isn't just coming out in Japan - I don't know how excited I am about getting Final Fantasy X-2, but I can hardly complain when both games are on the same disc. X-2 had it's charm, but it was nothing compared to the original.

Really looking forward to this, even though I don't have the time to play these days. :lol

X-2 is a guilty pleasure, and a real treat. I really liked getting all the background info and getting to know more about certain characters on those missions. It's a nice re-release, I'm just a bit dissapointed that they didn't brush up the quality (if the trailer is anything to go by) Does this have a release date yet?

Oh, but as I said, Final Fantasy X-2 certainly had it's charm. The gameplay was quite entertaining (I mean, Dresspheres!) and yes, some of the background info was interesting. But in my opinion, Final Fantasy X-2 suffered greatly from...

[spoil]... a distinctive lack of Auron. :lol[/spoil]

iirc International + LM fixed that.

Still didn't like the main storyline of X-2 though. Combat system was good though, I loved that.

Well, I have never tried FFX-2 International, but the things I have read about it made me very interested. Especially the part you allude to. :)

You also have to think of this on a logical standpoint.
Final fantasy 10 was also moderately close to today's standards in graphics.
However final fantasy 7 is blocky, and almost just past the snes standard of graphics.
So which one do you think would be easier to remaster? one where they would have to just pretty much edit the preexisting items, or one where they would have to re do everything?

the biggest problem i would see remastering ff7 is that it was still using pre-rendered backdrops as opposed to true rendered environments. that would mean a lot more work.

I dont like the fact that the graphics are almost the same, the only thing they do is put these two PS2 games into one PS3 disc, and sell it for a high price
