i've seen these books and i'm interested to read them, i'm not bothered by the movie tho XD movies almost always mess books up

i'm a massive harry potter fan and well i don't think the movies match the books at all... i do like the casting tho

I think it was quite good; not as good as all the hype, but better than many films.

I think it was hypocritical and they did a much worse job than they had too. Movies can compromise without ruining the story... the chronicles of Narnia are a prime example of how to do it right within your means. LOTR is another good example. There are a lot of movies based on books that are actually good, and stay true to the story despite their limitations.

But yes Sparxy hypothetically speaking, if you were to ask me if you should read the books, I would highly recommend them XP yes.

no <_< it's not like im gonna spend money on it XD so unless it comes on netflix or a friend brings in over, or it falls in my lap from the sky, I am prolly not gonna watch it XD I love the books too much... and I still respect Suzanne Collins too much to lose that much respect for her after watching it... Im not sure if this abomination was her fault or if she is a victim yet... I just wish these people were more accessible so I could ask her. but its prolly for the best that she isnt... there are some crazy people out there...

As far as I am aware she was very much involved in making it and is pleased with it.

On that note. I was happy to find out that Anne Rice sees Queen of the damned as an abomination. XD

good for Anne Rice, and Christopher Paolini was also very upset with Eragon. Shame on Suzanne Collins :T
