So, the danish version of "The Secret World of Arrietty" was released in DK yesterday and I got a copy for myself from my work. For those interested in random facts, it's called "Arriettys Hemmelige Verden" in danish! :)

I have to say it wasn't the best Studio Ghibli movie I have watched, but at the same time it had all the qualities of a great, great Studio Ghibli movie. There's no doubt I'll be watching it again within the near future. As always the music and art was great! I love the original version of "Arrietty's Song"! :D
I do believe there was too little interaction between Arrietty and Sho throughout the movie, and that ultimately made the ending seem a bit too sweet. I can understand why the two would be fascinated about each other, and sure, they did speak to one another. But I think it would've been better if the movie had included some - short - scenes where the friendship between the two could have grown stronger. One would argue that such scenes would have required a different approach to the movie overall.
It was also a quite scary movie... About 52 minuttes into the movie (during one of the most peaceful scenes) there was a flaw on the danish audio-track that caused the music to drown in something that sounded like static noise. Since the volume on the television was pretty high, my sister and I were equally shocked! Man, that was creepy! :shock

That may just be because you are the head of the Funender Garden, and I played 2 professor characters, so you seem like my boss now permanently in my mind. XD
