Nintendo discloses it will be launching New Nintendo 3DS XL next month in the US. However, the nation will not see the smaller version of it that is presently available in Australia and Japan, and soon to be launched in Europe too.
In a press statement Nintendo of America said different markets have different theories to make their own business decisions in terms of products and timing.
The statement further adds that the most sense for US market is New Nintendo 3DS XL.
Nintendo of America has scheduled of releasing the new 3DS XL on February 13 in its territory and it will be priced tagged $200. It will come in two colors – the New Red and the New Black.
Special-edition bundles will also be made available apart from the usual and it will come with Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate and The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D.
Even though the release of standard-sized New Nintendo 3DS has not be talked, but Nintendo of America even didn’t decline that it may not reach the territory later on. When asked about it, the company said they have nothing to announce about it right now.
Meanwhile, a report published by Famitsu says the 3DS XL is more popular than the smaller version in Japan as it outsold by the ratio of 3:1.
