Review: R.B.I. Baseball 15

In brief it can be said the R.B.I. Baseball 15 is a decent game to play initially when you start playing, but in later stage it looks like a fun game. However, playing further will disappoint you. It does not really live up to the promise.

Its AI is really smart. The game is available in multi-platform. It comes on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Mac, PC, Android and also iOS. Compared to MLB 15: The Show, you will find the R.B.I. Baseball 15 inferior while playing.

However, there are full 162 game seasons and all are of nine innings. Twenty five rosters too are featured to be modified as wished. The rules of playing are same as the rules of playing real baseball. There is nothing extra added.

Frankly speaking the game is more like an arcade game and the graphics are not up to the mark. Well, not horrible of course, but not so great too.

More to all these, the announcers are very annoying in it. It keeps on repeating the same phrases again and again, which means the game lacks in different sayings.

The controls are not very gooed. Getting acquainted is a big deal with it. It will take long time to get used to, but still you will be messing up things.

In terms of pitching there are just three types – regular, slow and fast. However, the batting is always the same even if you curve the ball. The pitchers are found not to change the techniques.

The game eventually loses appeal. On PlayStation you need to go with The Slow. However, on your PC or Xbox you can look for little more. As a whole it will deliver some fun of course.
