Chakra frequencies – Chakras, or wheels, are spinning vortexes that exist on the surface of the etheric human body. These spiral depressions are energy centers where life force energy enters and is transformed and transferred throughout the organs and systems in the body. When these energy centers become blocked or sluggish through fear, stress, or unresolved issues from the past, the body does not receive the energy it needs and this results in many kinds of physical, mental, and emotional issues.
There are over 80,000 chakra frequencies, but there are only seven primary ones
The Root Chakra
Located between the anus and the genitals and opening downward toward the earth, this is the first chakra and its color is red. It is connected to the coccyx and it is the root to life and sustenance. Just like the root of a plant goes deep into the earth to pull out what is vital to the plant’s existence, so the root chakra is what connects the human body to life. When a person is depressed or suicidal, often there is some kind of energy block associated with the root chakra. Some of the physical problems that might be connected to this vital energy center are:
anemia;
fatigue;
colds and fevers;
problems with eliminatory functions;
obesity;
Leukemia;
any terminal illness.
The Spleen Chakra
The spleen chakra is the second in chakra frequencies. It is orange in color, and is located in the lower abdomen. It is associated with the feelings, emotions, and desires. Some of illnesses and issues that might occur when there is a blockage in this energy center are:
sexual performance issues;
sexually transmitted diseases;
reproduction problems;
addictions;
allergies;
asthma.
The Solar Plexus
The third chakra is called the solar plexus. Its color is yellow and it is located in the stomach. The solar plexus is connected to personal power and will power, mental clarity and awareness, and to humor and laughter. A person experiencing an issue with this energy center might be timid and nervous or unsure of themselves. Physical symptoms that might be connected to the solar plexus are:
ulcers;
blood sugar disorders;
hepatitis;
jaundice;
poor memory functions;
addictions.
The Heart Chakra
The fourth chakra is located in the center of the chest and its color is green. It is connected to love and relationships, acceptance and forgiveness. Physical symptoms associated with the heart chakra are:
high blood pressure;
problems with the immune system;
breathing difficulties;
heart problems;
chest pain.
The Throat Chakra
The fifth in the primary chakra frequencies is found at the base of the throat and its color is blue. The throat chakra is connected to communication and expression, wisdom and trust. Physical issues associated with this chakra include:
thyroid problems;
fevers or infections;
itching or sores;
tonsillitis;
speech disorders;
toothaches;
TMJ;
hormonal problems;
PMS.
The Third Eye Chakra
Think “sixth sense’ here. The third eye chakra is connected to the intuition, invention, and psychic abilities. This energy center is located in the center of the forehead and its color is indigo. Physical symptoms experienced if this chakra becomes blocked are:
vision problems;
headaches and earaches;
sleep disorders;
fear;
depression or anxiety;
schizophrenia or paranoia.
The Crown Chakra
The seventh of the primary chakra frequencies is the crown chakra and is located, as you might suspect, at the top of the head. Its color is violet and this chakra is connected to the higher self and to spirituality. Any of the following issues can show up in the body if this chakra is not functioning properly:
mental illness;
confusion;
senility;
problems with the vessels or veins;
skin conditions.
The energy centers help to keep the body, mind, and spirit functioning properly and when they move without restriction, unobstructed by the cares of the world, then life force energy can move freely through the body to keep it healthy and whole.
Chakra frequencies and Crystal Healing
Traditionally, crystals were used to ease physical symptoms of illness, but now they are used to assist in energy healing, chakra healing, and sometimes to assist with pranic healing. Some believe that people are surrounded by energy centres, commonly known as auras. This aura is part of a person’s essence, and is believed to relate to the seven chakras, or energy centres, that some say are present within every human body.
More commonly, people recognize the aura as a person’s mood or state of mind. Sometimes it is evident that a person is upset or angry about something, even if they haven’t spoken; some believe that the aura is responsible for conveying these messages to others. It is also believed by some that when the chakras become clogged, people may feel ill or unhappy. This is where crystal healing has become a popular treatment, along with reiki classes and use of healing touch.
Chakras and Energy Healing
Chakras were apparently discovered by ancient Indian seers, who perceived the seven chakras as vortices of spinning energy along the spinal column. Each chakra is believed to have its own function for maintaining health, and they each correspond to a different organ in the body. Chakra balancing can be performed when a person is feeling out of sorts, as many people believe that the energy healing aids their bodies to heal any physical illness or injury, as well as calming the mind.
According to the authors of the book titled Crystals, Colour and Chakra, the ancient seers developed exercises and healing meditation designed to regulate and enhance each chakra. Healing crystals may be used by practitioners to assist in healing chakras and improving mental and physical well-being.
Healing Energy and Chakras
These healing energy meditations have been developed by other practitioners over the years, and there are many different exercises, including chakra healing, that have been developed to aid growth and development of spiritual well-being, and general physical good health. This form of metaphysical healing has grown in popularity and is widely becoming more accepted as an alternative form of healing therapy.
Popular forms of distance healing and holistic healing may sometimes involve crystal therapy to help clear the chakras and assist in energy healing. Reiki distance healing is another increasingly popular method of healing, which involves a practitioner using their own natural energies or auras, to help heal a patient.
Spiritual Healing, the Seven Chakras and Healing Crystals
Western spiritual healing practitioners simplified the chakra system and assigned a different rainbow colour to each of the seven chakras. These colours can be represented by crystals to offer a simple effective healing touch. Using observation, intuition, dowsing or a combination of methods, a crystal therapy practitioner can see which of the chakras needs rebalancing to restore equilibrium to the body’s system.
The healing stones which are deemed most appropriate can be placed around the affected energy centre. The healing crystals can be placed on the surface of the body or around it. Some therapists or holistic practitioners may even use crystal balls as tools for healing. The power of these healing gemstones is widely appreciated in holistic circles and among people who follow ‘New Age’ methods of medical treatment.
Using the colours and healing properties of crystals such as healing quartz, a crystal healing practitioner can realign the chakras into a healthier functioning system.
These methods, sometimes associated with theta healing, sound healing or shamanic healing, are believed to be useful and effective. They are becoming more popular in Western society, which in recent centuries has believed solely in science as the only answer to medical problems or illness.
People who accept spiritual healing and chakra meditation as treatment for their illnesses generally advocate the effectiveness of such practises. Many believe that that these alternatives can be effective in relieving physical, emotional, and mental disorders or stress.
