Presently cross-promotion with “Empire” is being talked by producers of American Idol to get some contestants.
Empire is a new series from the stable of Fox and it is about a music industry family.
According to American Idol executive producer Trish Kinane it would be a silly thing for them to ignore the music connection.
American Idol and Empire will be aired back-to-back on Wednesday night. Both are hot and to gather enough attention of viewers. Age has given status of biggest show to the singing contestant where as the new series is seen to be a success out of the box. Even it has earned second season demand.
Producers and host of American Idol, Ryan Seacrest, along with the three judges, Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick Jr. and Keith Urban, have come up with ideas to get stronger performers this season. Even last year the platform had good contestants but ratings faded because some of them could have done more in connecting themselves to the audience.
According to Seacrest, these days more young and potential musicians feel working comfortable at home with their computers rather than doing it in front of an audience.
The 24 filtered performers from 48 are lately being interviewed by judges and then to perform at the House of Blues in Los Angeles. These steps are being taken to find perfectly how the contestants are as performers.
Guess the cross-promotion strategy will bring better performers on the platform. Share your own views in the below given comment box.
