Google is reported to be updating its Now feature to make it better than before. It is learned the service will now support forty third-party apps including Ford, Pandora, Lyft and eBay. This is something great as users always have asked in past for such arrangements since it was launched in 2012.
Google Now offers personalized search results based on the previous actions of users. The process is in the form of cards like if an user leave his or her work place, the card will start alerting to an accident while returning back to home and also simultaneously provide alternate route via Google Maps.
It is to take note here that the cards process of Google Now largely relies on other services of Google such as Google Maps, Gmail, Google Search, Google Calendar etc.
It is reported users will start receiving notifications for the update soon.
The Guardian writes now even Pandora can recommend users for music to play, based on what one is searching.
On Android Wear the update will be intersting. It will make the wearable gadget more powerful. So, this is a great news for Moto 360 users.
Google writes in a blog post its Now will be updated to support new apps over next few weeks.
However, it is not clear whether the iOS app too will be updated with similar features.
