Finally the New Nintendo 3DS XL is out in North America and Europe, after much wait of course. It is said the latest model is faster than the predecessor packed in the same size. Several new features have been introduced too such as additional buttons, extra camera, second analog stick (C-Stick), microSD support, NFC, and also capable of Amiibo use.
If you are one of those Nintendo fans who have decided to buy the 3D handheld, below are some of the games you would like to play on it.
Legacy Circle Pad Pro Games
If you remember the Circle Pad Pro add-on made available in the predecessor, you may be excited to know it has been made available on the new handheld too. The added functionality in the add-on were extra shoulder buttons and second analog stick as well.
Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS
The Super Smash Bros. was released for the Nintendo 3DS last year on October 3 and now it is incorporated with the new device too. The use of C-Stick is no exception of the game similar to the older iterations. Players can flick it to execute smash attacks.
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate
The original Monster Hunter 4 was never released in the West. However, Capcom has released the Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate for the New Nintendo 3DS XL. It uses C-Stick as a way to control camera. The game boasts some new vertical movement and gamers can now also grab the monsters and attack in the mid-air.
The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D
The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D has been just released on February 13 to take complete advantage of the C-Stick, which is helpful during boss fights and it also makes the use of camera much easier. Without it gamers would have been restricted support.
Code Name: S.T.E.A.M.
Scheduled to be released on March 13 this year, the Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. is a strategy game and a product of Nintendo and Intelligent Systems. It is represented in full 3D and the C-Stick of the new handheld helps in controlling the camera in a much easy way to help gamers get the best view of the battlefield.
Xonoblade Chronicles 3D
Slated to be released on April 10 this year, the Xenoblade Chronicles 3D is an action role-playing game and also a part of the 2012’s Xenoblade Chronicles that was earlier released for the Nintendo Wii. The game is equipped with vase and beautiful locations and has earned good reviews. It comes with enjoyable in-depth combat and many more interesting things to do such us building up entire colony.
