Studying to be a gas engineer

You need to work under the supervision of a gas engineer. There is a mandatory legal requirement for apprenticeship and this varies from one country to another. Getting certified

Once you have complied with the necessary training and apprenticeship, the next thing to do is to prepare your portfolio. This is necessary for the ACS Assessment. There are written and verbal examinations which are made by experts in the industry. They are also qualified to conduct assessment. Among the core competencies that you have to focus on are Central Heating and Boilers, Core Gas Safety, Gas Fires and Gas Cookers. You need to pass the standards before you are given the seal of approval. Once you have been certified, you need to have the license renewed every 5 years. The process is much easier though.
