I came across the research made by Chicago University specialists. They interviewed 20, 000 people who had tied the knot in the period from 2005 to 2012. It turned out that the spouses who were not indebted to Internet for meeting each other were less happy with their relations than those who met each other in social nets or dating sites. The result of this research was overwhelming to me. I used to believe that face-to-face contact is so important for choosing the right person with whom you are going to spend all your life. It is hard to escape the conclusion that dating online has found deep roots in our lives.

My cousin Jack who had moved to Great Britain was close to depression because of feeling lonely in a new country and without his sweetheart.   He attended museums, concerts, went to clubs and speed dating.
