Diablo III is to get a new patch. It is 2.2.0 update and focuses on some new content instead of adjusting classes.
According to Blizzard, the next big patch has focused mainly on adding new things.
As of now the new 2.2.0 patch is in works but it is also said to be arriving very soon on Public Test Regions. It is learned three new six-piece sets will be introduced with the new update and those are Unhallowed Essence, Wrath of the Wastes and Delsere’s Magnum Opus.
Apart from these three, there will be update for the seven existing sets. Fifteen new Legendary powers are also introduced to lure those players who are more interested in Legendary items such as gems, rings, and armor.
In a preview released by Blizzard two of the three powers can be seen including one causing an Avalanche and the other increases damage.
More to all these, the Nephalem and Greater Rifts in it will be getting new layouts in order to help avoid experience of running through those from becoming too familiar.
In the New Rifts segment the Act I’s Festering Woods, Act II’s Stinging Winds, and Act III’s Fields of Slaughter could be seen. As the map layouts will get randomized this time, more experience is required for completing the rifts.
